His career in government started in 1990. He joined the Parliament in the COnservative Party for a small town in Manchester, Oldham. After time serving for the conservative party, he felt that they didn?t care and opted to help out the Liberals. He soon became a member of the parliament and joined the Prime Minister?s cabinet. Here, he helped pass the People?s Budget in addition to various things.

After the Norwegian crisis occurred and the former Prime Minister, Chamberlain, was voted no on, Churchill was nominated as Prime Minister and minister of defense. He worked with Conservative and Liberal men to help him during this difficult time. He collaborated with leaders to create a game plan that would work against the axis powers. Ultimately, he is notorious for his speech that touches on an idea of an ?iron curtain.? He will always be known for successfully leading Britain through World War 2. He gave amazing speeches that promoted an optimistic attitude during a very dark time.
